Do you ever wish that there were a way you could communicate with all the women at Brentwood? Are you part of a group that you think others would enjoy too? Do you wish you knew about opportunities to get to know your sisters better? Or wish that you could share a need quickly? These are the reasons that SisterTalk was formed. SisterTalk is a moderated email list for the women at Brentwood Oaks – to encourage the development of relationships and the meeting of each other’s needs. Among many appropriate topics for the list are things like... Get togethers that are open to all members: play-times for moms and kids; meet-ups at local pools; walking groups; picnics; golf outings; forming Tapestry groups Job related needs: Needing a job (attach a resume if desired); available jobs Help needed/help available: bedside sitting; a mom needs/has baby clothing; free washer/dryer Study opportunities: Bible study groups; prayer groups; nearby churches' women's programs The moderation guidelines are as follows: Nothing confidential Generally no prayer requests. We already have an effective congregation-wide system to communicate prayer needs. No need to receive duplicate emails. No marketing/sales, e.g. Pampered Chef, Tupperware, Mary Kay, garage sales No jokes, good stories, email chains, recipes. Using SisterTalk
To post a message to all the list members, send email to sistertalk@lists.brentwoodoaks.org. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to SisterTalk
Subscribe to SisterTalk by filling out the following form. Your subscription will be held for approval. You will be notified by email when your subscription is approved (or denied) by the list moderator. This is also a hidden list, which means that the list of subscribers is available only to the list administrator. Your email address:   Your name:   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription.
